ECHO, El Camino Homeless Organization, the non-profit homeless shelter serving north San Luis Obispo County, invites the community to participate in the 4th Annual Long Walk Home fundraiser. Take a morning stroll with friends around downtown Atascadero, or take a tour and learn how the shelter helps our local homeless families get back home. The event includes music, lunch, and prizes! "This is a critical fundraiser for ECHO," said Board President Jim Patterson. "ECHO has grown by 67% over the last few years. We went from 31 to 50 beds and help many families with children, as well as adults." The team that raises the most wins 7 dinners at Guest House Grill in Atascadero. The individual who raises the most wins an Apple iPad Mini.

This year Golden State Classics Car Club is organizing the weekend cruise night and car show on Labor Day weekend. It is co-hosted by the City of Paso Robles.  There will be pre-1979 classic cars cruising Friday night and showing in the park on Saturday. Participants are invited to tour our city's entertainment spots on Sunday. We are expecting over 300 cars for this event. Net proceeds will go to local charities.

For many years Golden State Classics Car Club hosted a quality, "family-oriented" car show every Labor Day weekend in Paso Robles.

On Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, the 18th Annual Taste of Downtown promises a superb culinary and artistic experience in historic downtown Paso Robles. With the purchase of the $25 Taste of Downtown ticket pass, participants will sample the creations of over 35 local restaurants, a brewery, wineries, ice cream and coffee houses. Downtown Paso Robles also will host the 12th Annual Arte de Tiza on Saturday, Sept. 19th. The Paso Robles Art Association chalk-art celebration will offer a visual feast of chalk murals created by area artists on the sidewalk of Pine Street between 11th and 12th streets. Artwork will be in progress beginning at 8 a.m. the morning of the Taste. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., PASS holders will stroll from eatery to eatery, sampling the cuisine of over 45 fine dining establishments, wineries, and brewery, some so new that even locals may not have discovered them yet. Participating eateries and wine tasting for wineries located outside the downtown core will offer their creations in the park.

The "Walk to the Rock" not only raises much needed funds for helping fight hunger in our County, but raises awareness for the people in need in our community. The event features a one mile walk to to Morro Rock, snacks and music by The Mud Skippers, and awards and prizes for the top money raisers. Come join us for the fun!
